​​As a mom raising kids right here in Katy ISD, I fully understand how important schools are in your home search. Katy ISD has long been one of the top-rated school districts not only in Texas, but nationwide. The recent Niche rankings were just released Katy ISD claimed the number spot, for the second year in a row, on the list of the best school districts in the Houston area and the seventh best school district in Texas. Katy Mills Mall: A major shopping destination with outlet stores, entertainment options, and plenty of indoor space for when you want to shop, walk, and play, regardless of the Texas heat. My family loves stopping here for everything from new shoes to weekend fun.

PopStroke: A fun, family-friendly mini-golf and entertainment venue designed by Tiger Woods. My kids absolutely love the interactive putting courses, and the food and drinks are perfect for a casual night out.

Home Run Dugout: This baseball-inspired entertainment spot lets you swing for the fences in their high-tech batting bays. It’s such a fun place for families, date nights, or group outings.

Typhoon Texas Waterpark: One of our go-to summer hangouts! With water slides, lazy rivers, and tons of space for kids to cool off, Typhoon Texas offers a full day of fun just minutes from home.

Urban Air Trampoline Park: Located near Katy Mills Mall, Urban Air is perfect for indoor fun year-round. From trampolines to obstacle courses, it's an absolute hit with kids (and burns lots of energy!).

Taroko Sports: Just opened in 2025, Taroko Sports combines indoor soccer fields, batting cages, and multi-sport courts all under one roof. It's quickly becoming one of Katy's best new activity spots for both kids and adults!

Mary Jo Peckham Park: One of my family's absolute favorites in Old Katy! This beautiful park features fishing, walking trails, a large playground, and even a mini-golf course. It's a perfect spot for relaxing weekends or picnics with the kids.

Exploration Park in Cinco Ranch: A creative and interactive park designed for kids to explore and play while parents can relax under shaded pavilions. My kids love the water features and imaginative play structures, and it’s a great way to spend time outdoors in the heart of Cinco Ranch.
